18 February 2023 | SheDares Ladies Luncheon Event

Today marks exactly a week after having hosted the very first Ladies Luncheon at SheDares; a movement I run.

I still find myself reliving that day and my mind reminicing on the wonderful conversations we had. What a crazy realisation to know that partnering with God can yield to such an achievement.

It is an achievement for me because I was able to fully surrender and allow God to use me in such a way.

I am so glad I waited on the Lord. To think I wanted to do this over two years ago, and now that I look back I was never ready nor prepared.

It hasn’t been easy. I’ve stumbled, I’ve fallen short and I’ve failed. I’ve tried to shake it off but God never stopped pursing me.

I had to overcome fear along the way. I had to understand that what God has put in me, no man, no situation, no failure could ever disqualify me from it. And that it isn’t about me, but about every single woman God chooses to put in my path for His name sake.

Who you see today is no perfect girl! But a girl who chose to stick by her God and follow what was calling her, flawed and all.

@shedaresmovement isn’t just some cute movement but my life’s testimony of how God exchanged my fear for a bold and confident spirit. A spirit that would DARE go after all that God has put in me.

I am so proud of what God and I were able to pull off! Our very first SheDares Event was a success!❤️ All Glory goes to him!🙏🏾
