Enjoy where you are on the way to where you are going.
I won’t lie being content is not an easy thing. I recently found myself so wrapped up, focussing on God’s plans for my future instead of enjoying where he has positioned me right now. Not only that, I found myself worrying about what tomorrow holds instead of being fully present in my day-to-day moments.
I quickly realised that I was only robbing myself of my day and the blessing that resides in being grateful for something as simple as just waking up to see yet another day.
I have learned that there is blessing in appreciating where I am, so no matter the goals, plans, I will have joy today in spite of.
So I challenge you today to find contentment in whatever season you may be in. God is present in your day to day. He knows and sees everything you go through. Trust His plans for your life. Instead of worrying, pray about it and leave it at the feet of Jesus. In your waiting, be a very thankful and grateful person for all that God has done for you already.
Be grateful where you are
Be content where you are
Be a blessing where you are
Because you won’t always be there.
Don’t worry about tomorrow. Live for today.
